Types of recruitments
Types of recruitments
There are 2 types of recruitment, which would be internal recruitment and external recruitment. Internal recruitment is when a company decides to fill a gap in the workforce by using an employee who would be already working in the organization, internal recruitment would happen through the promotion of an already existing employee, transfers of an employee from departments or branches within the organization, Confirmation of an employee who is working in the organization as part-time or holding a temporary position. The benefits of doing an internal recruitment would be that the employee will already know in and out about the organization and will have a clear understanding of the workforce and the culture inside the organization, The time and expenditure spent for the recruitment will be lesser and lesser time consumed in employee training. Drawbacks would be a lesser chance of getting new and innovative ideas into the business, The organization will have a limited pool of candidates to select the best fit for the job and internal recruitment will create gaps in the workforce, as existing employees move to a different job role the current job role will need to be filled. (Borrington & Stimpson, 2006)
External recruitment is when a company decides to hire an
employee outside the organization. The methods of external recruitment would be
promoting job advertisements through newspapers, websites, and notice boards.
Getting applications through recruitment agencies also known as headhunting, and Finding applicants through social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
The benefits of external recruitment would be, the company will gain fresh new
skills and knowledge, a higher pool of candidates to select from, awareness of
the company and the market from a new point of view, and insights into the
competitors as well. The drawback of external recruitment would be the high
cost and time consumption of the recruitment process, the risk of turnover is high
and more time is consumed in training, cannot do immediate recruitment as
certain employees will have to give notice period for the existing company.

Solutions follow the internal recruitment method, since Superior Solutions is a

market is important and the existing employees at superior Solutions do go
through training programs very 3months period. Positions such as executive

skills and knowledge to the company.

Very interesting content. The selection of right candidates for the right positions will help the organization to achieve its desired goals and objectives. When selection of the employees takes place, it is vital to ensure that they possess the desired qualifications, skills and abilities that are required to perform the job duties in a well-organized manner (Dr. Radhika Kapur, 2016).
